Facilitation for strategic and innovation workshops

Enej Gradišek | FaciliTribe

When a team has different perspectives and unresolved questions, it needs a way to reach shared decisions. I work with leaders and teams to clarify the challenge, compare options and agree on what comes next.

We work on your own situation, from strategic priorities to developing a new solution or changing how the team works.

Let’s talk about your challenge.

When is facilitation useful?

• Leaders need to agree on a direction and priorities.
• Departments see the same problem differently and struggle to reach agreement.
• You have plenty of ideas but need to decide which to test first.
• You are developing a product, service or business model and need a structured next step.

What we can work on together

Strategic workshop
We clarify your direction, decisions and priorities. Before the session, we agree on a useful outcome: a shared direction, a set of priorities or a plan with clear responsibilities.

Innovation workshop and design sprint
We define the user’s problem, develop options and choose what to test. The outcome may be a concept, a first prototype or an experiment plan.

Team alignment
We bring together different perspectives, clarify obstacles and reach agreements. We finish with clear decisions and responsibility for the next steps.

How we work together

1. Define the challenge. What needs to be clearer after the workshop, and who needs to take part in the decision?
2. Choose the format. We adapt the scope and way of working to the question, team and desired outcome.
3. Guide the process. Participants contribute their knowledge and experience. The facilitator provides structure, includes different voices and helps the discussion move forward.
4. Record agreements. We distinguish decisions from open questions and agree on next steps and responsibilities.

Examples of challenges

Aligning priorities
Leaders or a team compare different perspectives on the same challenge. Together, we define criteria, prioritise the options and record which decisions need to be made. Participants own the decisions.

Developing a new solution
We start with the user’s problem, develop possible solutions and choose what is worth testing. Depending on the challenge, we prepare a concept, a first prototype or an experiment plan. Part of this may be deciding which idea not to pursue for now.

Agreeing on the next steps
We finish by distinguishing decisions from open questions. We summarise the next steps and responsibilities and agree on what the team still needs to check. Preparation is based on your own situation and the desired outcome.

Frequently asked questions

What does a facilitator do?
A facilitator designs and guides a group process. They help participants understand the question, contribute their perspectives and reach clear agreements. The team owns the decisions.

How long does a workshop take?
We agree on the duration based on the challenge, participants and desired outcome. Before committing, we clarify what is feasible in the time available.

Does every workshop include AI?
No. We use GenAI where it helps with the specific challenge. The format follows the workshop’s purpose and the team.

What do we need before the first conversation?
A short description of the challenge, who is involved and what you want to achieve. We clarify the desired outcome and next steps together.

What question does your team need to resolve?

In a 30-minute conversation, we explore what you want to achieve and whether a facilitated workshop is the right format.

What would you like to achieve?

You don’t need a finished brief. Tell me what you want to achieve, who the work is for and where you’re getting stuck. That gives us a starting point for choosing a useful approach.
